 Nathaniel BALL, son of Ebeneezer BALL and Sarah GOOKINS.Born 24 Jan 1750 They resided in Hebron, NH. He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War form Hollis. All there children were born in a log house, but later a frame house was built. All the boys, with the exception of John stayed on the old farm until they were of age. He and his wife died there, dates unknown. Married/ Related to:  Sarah NEVINSBorn ± 1752 Children: 1. Hannah BALLBorn ± 1770 2. Bridget Snow BALLBorn ± 1771 3. Lucy BALLBorn ± 1772 4. Nathaniel BALLBorn ± 1773 Resided in Hebron, NH 5. Willie BALLBorn ± 1774, died ± 1826, approximately 52 years Lived on the old place in Hebron, NH while his parents lived. Later in live he resided in Grand Rapids, Mich., with his son, E. Morris. 6. Sarah BALLBorn 1775 7. Ebeneezer BALLBorn 1786 After reaching the age of 21, went to Sterling, Massachusetts and learned chair-making. Later in Boston, at the opening of the War of 1812, he joined the militia and was stationed on Governors Island in Boston Harbor, where he took cold and died. 8. Deborah BALLBorn 1790 9. William BALLBorn 1792 10. John BALLBorn 1794, died 1884, 89 or 90 years They resided in Grand Rapids, Mich. Before his marriage, which did not occur until he was nearly 60 years of age, he traveled extensively throughout this country and around the world. He died in 1884, age 90, leaving notes about his life and travels, from which his biography has bee compiled by his daughters, Kate, Flora and Lucy.
