 James BALL, son of Jeremiah BALL and Mary STEVENS.Born 1 Jan 1764, died 15 Aug 1850, 86 years Was a refugee of Shay's Rebellion and escaped into New Hampshire in 1787, where he built a home half way up Robb Mountain, near Antrim NH. They resided in Antrim, NH. He married Hepzibah Shattuck and when she died he married Rebecca Shattuck, He pzibah first cousin.
