A son was born 14 Aug 1837 in Shefford to Eliphalet and Fanny Townsend. There was a marriage in Shefford of an Eliphalet Townsend of Brome, widower, and Elizabeth Lewis of Brome 2 May 1831. On the 19 Dec 1835 Elisha Townsend of Brome died and was buried at the Shefford Methodist Church; that burial record was witnessed by Arvilla Townsend and Abner Townsend. It is not clear as to which Townsend Arvilla Ball was married. 6.
